Kano Government Intensifies Voter Awareness Campaign for PVC Registration

The Kano State government, through the leadership of Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, is committed to a voter awareness campaign to ensure millions of residents in the state obtain their permanent voter cards (PVC). The campaign aims to lead the nation in voter registration exercises.

The state has developed a strategic plan to register millions of eligible voters, with a target of five million registered voters. The efforts have been recognized by the commission, and key individuals like Yahaya Danjuma Yusuf have been instrumental in grassroots mobilization.

The campaign also focuses on combating drug abuse, with Waiya receiving an honorary award for his advocacy efforts.
