Gwarzo Urges Kano Muslims to Pray Against Insecurity

Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Kano State, called on Muslims in the state to intensify their prayers for an end to insecurity while celebrating Takutaha, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). In a goodwill message issued by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, on Tuesday, Gwarzo congratulated the Muslim community in Kano State on this significant occasion, highlighting its importance in reflecting on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

He urged Muslims to use this time to renew their faith, strengthen brotherhood, and promote tolerance. Gwarzo specifically called for prayers for communities affected by insecurity, particularly in local government areas of the state.

He emphasized the need for collective efforts towards achieving lasting peace and encouraged the people of Kano to uphold values central to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Gwarzo expressed his commitment to good governance and sustainable development if elected governor in 2027.
