Gwarzo Condemns Bandit Attacks in Kano, Calls for Security Action

Aminu Gwarzo, the Nigeria Democratic Congress governorship candidate in Kano State, condemned the recent attacks by suspected bandits in four local government areas, including Garun Mallam, Rogo, and Bebeji. In a statement issued on Tuesday by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Shuaibu, Gwarzo expressed sympathy for the victims and their families, particularly those in Chiromawa, Beli, and surrounding communities.

He described the attacks as a significant threat to lives and economic activities, urging the government to strengthen security operations in vulnerable areas. Gwarzo called for intensified intelligence gathering and rapid intervention by security agencies to protect residents and restore confidence.

He warned that ongoing insecurity could undermine agricultural production and economic activities, stressing that farmers and traders must access their livelihoods without fear. Gwarzo also commended security personnel for their efforts and urged communities to remain vigilant and provide credible information to help prevent future attacks.
