Kano Governor Urges Unity and Reflection on Maulud

On the occasion of Eid al-Maulud, which commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf extended his congratulations to Muslims in Kano State and across Nigeria. In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, Yusuf encouraged Muslims to reflect on the life and teachings of the Prophet, highlighting virtues such as peace, justice, compassion, honesty, patience, and tolerance.

He called for these values to be demonstrated in daily life to promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among diverse communities. The Governor urged parents, religious leaders, and community elders to educate younger generations about the Prophet's exemplary conduct.

He prayed for ongoing peace, stability, and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria, and expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, wishing them success in their administration. Yusuf concluded by wishing Muslims a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Maulud celebration.
