Kano Housewife Fatima Allegedly Stabs Husband to Death

In Kano, a housewife named Fatima allegedly stabbed her husband to death during an argument on a Sunday. The couple had been married for less than two months.

Sources, who requested anonymity, reported that Fatima expressed dissatisfaction with the marriage, stating she did not love her husband. Following the stabbing, she reportedly called for help, indicating the severity of the situation.

After the incident, Fatima rushed to a police station, and the deceased was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The police arrested Fatima immediately after the incident, and she is currently in custody at the Zango Police Division in Dantamashi.

Efforts to reach the Kano Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, for comments were unsuccessful as he did not answer calls or respond to text messages at the time of the report.
