Kano Lawmaker Jobe Booed at APC Ward Congress

Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe, the current representative for Dawakin Tofa/Rimin Gado Federal Constituency, was booed and escorted out during an APC ward congress in Tofa Local Government Area, Kano State.

The incident occurred as Jobe attempted to deliver a speech in his hometown, where a viral video captured the crowd's protests, chanting phrases indicating their discontent with the party's leadership. The situation escalated as the youth continued to shout and make abusive remarks towards the lawmaker.

Following the uproar, footage showed Jobe being aided by supporters to leave the venue amid growing tension. Earlier in the month, Jobe had appealed for forgiveness regarding shortcomings during a stakeholders' meeting.
