NDC Calls for Calm After Gwarzo's Omission from INEC List

The Kano State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for calm among its members following the omission of its governorship candidate, Comrade Aminu Gwarzo, from the final list of candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Mr Yusuf Fasaha, the party’s Public Relations Officer, stated that the party had consulted with INEC, which attributed the omission to a computer error and assured that it would be corrected.
Fasaha emphasized that the issue did not originate from the party and expressed optimism that a revised list containing Gwarzo's name would be released by Monday. He also confirmed that Gwarzo had fulfilled all election requirements within the stipulated timeframe and mentioned that the party would continue consultations regarding the matter.
