Bayero University Kano has expelled 60 students across various departments for involvement in examination malpractice. The decision was made during the university's 43rd statutory senate meeting held on January 7, 2026, following a comprehensive review and recommendation by the relevant academic disciplinary committee.

This action underscores the institution's commitment to maintaining academic integrity and discipline. Previously, in April 2025, the university expelled 62 students for similar misconduct.
