FUDMA Rusticates 20 Students for Exam Malpractices

The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) in Katsina has rusticated 20 students due to their involvement in various forms of examination misconduct. This decision was made during the 138th regular Senate meeting held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

The Senate approved the verdict based on a report from the student disciplinary committee, which found the students guilty of committing examination irregularities. The rustication will take effect in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

Moham Khalid Othman, the Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Senate, commended the committee members for their adherence to FUDMA's examination misconduct policy, ensuring that due process, fairness, and justice were maintained throughout the proceedings.
