Kebbi APC Re-elects Abubakar Kana-Zuru as Chairman

Abubakar Kana-Zuru was re-elected as the chairman of the Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a second term during a consensus-driven congress held in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday. The congress was attended by delegates from 21 local government areas and 225 wards, including party executives, former governors, and former deputy governors.

The election process was described as orderly and a demonstration of unity within the Kebbi APC, contrasting with previous disorganized congresses. Governor Nasir Idris praised the stakeholders for their maturity and the peaceful outcome, which reflects a collective commitment to progress.

The newly elected executive members include Ado Mudi Augi as vice chairman, Saidu Muhammad Kimba as secretary, and Isha Gunabi as state women leader. Kana-Zuru expressed gratitude towards the governor and party stakeholders for their support and assured members of his loyalty and commitment to strengthening the party and supporting the administration's development agenda.
