Kebbi ex-gov’ship candidate, Galaudu, dumps PDP

Former governorship candidate in Kebbi State, Galaudu, has announced his departure from the People's Democratic Party (PDP). In a letter addressed to the ward chairman of PDP in Augie Local Government Area, Galaudu cited the ongoing crisis within the party as the reason for his resignation.

He stated that he was leaving the party with immediate effect. Galaudu, who previously represented Kebbi North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, expressed his disappointment with the PDP, noting that the party is currently dominated by politicians who are loyal to the ruling party at the national level.

His decision to leave the PDP highlights the internal challenges facing the party in Kebbi State.
