Kebbi Governor Idris Visits Mosque Attack Victims, Promises Security

On Thursday, Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris visited the victims of a mosque attack in Dadin Kowa, Maiyama Local Government Area, which occurred during the Isha Taraweeh prayer and resulted in the deaths of five worshippers. The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed the fatalities.

During his visit, Governor Idris described the attack as an "unacceptable act" and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. He emphasized that the safety of residents is a top priority for his administration.

Idris assured the community that military personnel and security agencies would be mobilized to strengthen protection in the area and prevent further occurrences. He encouraged residents to remain calm, unite, and cooperate with security agencies by providing credible information to help track down those responsible for the attack.

The governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to protecting lives and property across Kebbi State.
