Kebbi Governor's Aide Empowers 200 Constituents with N4M

Yahaya Sarki, the Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor on Media and Publicity, alongside Abubakar Ahmad, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, disbursed N4 million to empower 200 constituents at Shiyar Sarakuna in Birnin Kebbi. Each beneficiary, selected from youth and women groups, as well as individuals with special needs, received N20,000 to engage in profitable ventures.

This initiative aligns with a directive from Governor Idris, urging top civil servants and public office holders to provide financial and material support to their communities or face removal from their positions. Sarki expressed gratitude to Governor Idris for the opportunity to serve and solicited votes for the governor in the upcoming 2027 general election.

He emphasized that the empowerment program aims to enhance the livelihoods of the less privileged, adhering to the governor's mandate for public office holders.
