Minister Praises Kebbi's Media Engagement Strategy

Alhaji Muhammad Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, commended the Kebbi State Government for its initiative to engage directly with media stakeholders to effectively publicize the achievements of Governor Nasir Idris. During a courtesy visit by the Kebbi State Governor’s Media Team, led by Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, Idris noted this approach as unprecedented for a subnational government.

He stressed that regular engagement with media organizations fosters a harmonious relationship between the government and the public. Idris recommended this strategy to other states, highlighting its potential to enhance governance and socio-economic development.

He cited the 1,068km Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway project as an example of federal commitment to infrastructure and agriculture. Idris praised Governor Nasir Idris for his performance in various sectors, including infrastructure and security, acknowledging his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The visit aimed to showcase the administration’s achievements and strengthen relations with key national development stakeholders.
