Kebbi State Approves N2.11bn for Gratuities and Benefits

The Kebbi State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dr. Nasir Idris, has approved the release of N2.11 billion for the payment of gratuities and death benefits to state civil servants and contract staff.

Malami Shakari disclosed this information in a statement signed by Rashidu Muhammad Bala, the Director of Administration. A total of 772 beneficiaries will receive these payments, which will cover gratuities and death benefits for personnel from local government services and local government education authorities (LGEA).

The payment period is set from September 16, 2025, to January 15, 2026. This approval underscores Governor Idris's commitment to improving the welfare of workers and ensuring timely settlement of entitlements for the families of deceased public servants.
