Taraba State Approves N7bn for Retired Civil Servants

The Taraba State Government has approved a budget of N7 billion aimed at addressing gratuity, retirement, and death benefits for retired civil servants. This announcement was made by Zainab Usman, the state commission, during a disclosure in Jalingo on Friday.

Governor Agbu Kefa stated that this funding will enable the government to sustain monthly payments and clear outstanding gratuities and retirement benefits owed to retired civil servants. He reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring that pensions are received promptly by those entitled.

The state government has prioritized monthly payments of pensions and gratuities, further demonstrating its dedication to improving the welfare of retired civil servants.
