Kebbi Governor Donates N20 Million After Fatal Crash

On a Saturday, a tragic motor accident occurred along Airport Road in Ambursa, Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area, resulting in the deaths of five youths and injuries to several others. The accident involved a Toyota Sienna that lost control while conveying 18 youths returning from a friendly football match.

In response, Kebbi State Governor Comrade Nasir Idris, accompanied by a high-powered delegation, visited the scene and expressed his condolences to the victims' families. He announced a financial assistance package of N20 million, which includes N3 million for each of the deceased's families and N1 million for those who sustained injuries, with the remaining N2 million to be shared among the other occupants of the vehicle.

Governor Idris emphasized the tragedy's impact on the Ambursa community and assured continued support for the victims' families. The district head of Ambursa, Alhaji Isah Haruna Rashe, expressed gratitude for the governor's swift intervention and financial support.
