Kebbi Hisbah Bans Secondary School Sign-Out Celebrations

The Kebbi State Hisbah Board has officially banned all sign-out processions and celebrations that mark the completion of secondary school examinations in both public and private schools throughout Kebbi State. This directive was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi by the Board’s Director of Shari’ah, Surajo Usman Kamba.

The statement instructs principals and proprietors of all secondary schools to refrain from organizing or permitting any sign-out processions, graduation celebrations, or related gatherings following the conclusion of examinations. The Board explained that this decision aims to protect the moral upbringing of students and ensure that post-examination activities align with Islamic teachings and the cultural values of Kebbi State.

The Hisbah Board has called upon parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders to support this directive and ensure strict compliance, emphasizing its commitment to promoting discipline, morality, and social order in the state.
