Keyamo Critiques ADC After Peter Obi's Departure

Keyamo mocked the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in response to Peter Obi's resignation, comparing the party's treatment of Obi to that of a "side-chick." Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, announced his exit from the ADC on Saturday, citing persistent internal disputes and legal battles as major factors for his departure. He emphasized that his decision was not driven by anger but was a reflection of the country's dire need for rescue.

Obi expressed appreciation for the ADC leadership, particularly former Senate President David Mark and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, acknowledging their support. He warned that actions weakening Nigeria's democratic structures would ultimately harm the people.

Obi's exit coincided with that of former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, triggering a wider exodus of 18 lawmakers from the ADC.
