Keystone Bank Supports Maternal Health in Jigawa State

Keystone Bank recently donated delivery kits to 150 pregnant women in Jigawa State, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing maternal health outcomes. The initiative was announced by Izor Lami Bamawo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, who noted that the program is designed to promote safer childbirth and improve access to essential maternal care supplies.

This outreach aligns with the Safe Motherhood initiative led by Governor Umar Namadi, which aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in the state. Nasiru Ibrahim, the Regional Head Northwest of Keystone Bank, emphasized the importance of this initiative in supporting vulnerable groups and improving community health.

Hajiya Hadizat Abdulwahab, the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs in Jigawa State, commended the partnership between the private sector and government in improving maternal health outcomes. The donation reflects Keystone Bank's belief that corporate success is intertwined with social responsibility, aiming to foster healthier communities and economies.
