Keystone Bank Supports Maternal Health in Jigawa State

Keystone Bank recently donated delivery kits to 150 pregnant women in Jigawa State, as part of its commitment to enhancing maternal health outcomes. The initiative, announced by Izor Lami Bamawo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, is part of a voluntary employee scheme under the second phase of a maternal health project.

This program aims to promote safer childbirth and improve access to essential maternal care supplies. Nasiru Ibrahim, the Regional Head Northwest of Keystone Bank, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the maternal health drive of Governor Umar Namadi's Safe Motherhood initiative, which seeks to improve maternal and child health across the state.

Hajiya Hadizat Abdulwahab, Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs in Jigawa State, commended the partnership between the private sector and government in improving maternal health outcomes. The donation is expected to strengthen community health and reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in Jigawa State.
