Kidnapped Kwara Victims Plead for Rescue in New Video

A new video has emerged showing kidnapped victims from Woro, located in the Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, making desperate pleas for rescue. This footage, obtained on a Thursday, follows an earlier video released on February 14 that drew national outrage regarding the scale of the February 3 attack in Woro, where several individuals were killed and many abducted.

The latest video indicates a significantly larger group of captives, primarily women and children, who appear weak and malnourished after two months in captivity. The Kwara State Government, represented by Bolanl Olukoju, has acknowledged the distress caused by the videos and assured residents that security agencies are working to verify the identities of the victims and intensify rescue efforts.

However, the situation has worsened, as the fresh video reveals the dire living conditions of the captives, who include pregnant women and small children, raising concerns about potential indoctrination during their captivity. Attempts to obtain comments from the Kwara State Police Command were unsuccessful.
