Suspected Kidnapper Shot Dead in Abuja Estate Shootout

On a Thursday evening at approximately 8:47 PM, a gang of seven men attempted to invade an estate in Abuja with the intention of kidnapping a businessman. The assailants began shooting sporadically, which attracted the attention of military personnel stationed at the entrance gate.

Michael Mose, a resident of the estate, reported the incident via telephone. The military operation, conducted by the Kurudu police division, engaged the kidnappers in a shootout that resulted in the death of one suspect.

The military successfully foiled the abduction attempt, and the deceased suspect was subsequently taken away by the police. Sp.
