Kogi Governor Ododo Receives Rescued Students and Officials

Governor Ododo of Kogi State welcomed the rescued principal, a National Examinations Council (NECO) official, and several students at the government house in Lokoja. Their rescue followed a coordinated security operation that applied sustained pressure on the kidnappers, prompting them to abandon their victims.

Governor Ododo praised the professionalism of the security agencies involved in the operation and assured the residents that efforts are underway to apprehend those responsible for the kidnapping and ensure they face justice. He raised concerns regarding reports of an alleged illegal miracle center operating in the state despite police presence.

Additionally, Governor Ododo expressed appreciation for the support received from President Bola Tinubu and various security agencies during the rescue mission, reaffirming that Kogi State will not serve as a refuge for criminal elements.
