Kogi Government Commends Foundation for School Rebuild

The Kogi state government commended the Henry Adetayo Foundation, led by Adebayo Mike Arayegbemi, for its reconstruction of Community Secondary School Oke Agi in Mopamuro local government area. During an inspection of the rebuilt facility on Thursday, Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, described the project as a prime example of responsible citizenship and a strategic investment in the community's future.

Fanwo highlighted that the state government is proud of the foundation's intervention, which will enhance educational opportunities for students in Oke Agi and surrounding areas. He reiterated that under the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, over 30 percent of the state's expenditure is allocated to education.

However, he acknowledged that the government cannot address all infrastructural gaps alone. Fanwo called for more individuals like Adebayo to support government efforts, praising the foundation's initiative to rebuild the school rather than merely pointing out its deficiencies.
