Kogi Diaspora Group Supports Governor Ododo's Initiatives

The Kogi Diaspora Association (KDA) based in the United Kingdom praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for significant advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic development in Kogi State. In a statement signed by Secretary-General Sir Andrew Okwor, the KDA expressed satisfaction with the state's progress under Ododo's leadership.

They noted the governor's commitment to continuity in governance, building on projects from former Governor Yahaya Bello's administration. A key achievement cited was the revitalization of over 150 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across the 21 local government areas, with 88 PHCs rehabilitated at an investment exceeding N7 billion.

The KDA also acknowledged the completion of the GYB Model Science Secondary Schools and emphasized the importance of sustaining investments in education and agriculture. They urged that the ambitious N820.49 billion budget for 2026 be implemented with transparency and measurable results, highlighting the potential for economic prosperity through Kogi's agricultural and mineral resources.
