Kogi East APC Stakeholders Petition NWC Over Suspension

Stakeholders from Kogi East of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have submitted a petition to the National Working Committee (NWC) concerning the suspension of Senator Jibrin Isah, popularly known as Echocho. The group, represented by Ibrahim Moham, has called on the APC national chairman, Nentaw Yilwatda, to disregard a purported letter that allegedly circulates among party members in the district.

They argue that the letter is not authentic and represents a politically motivated action against Isah. The statement issued on Thursday highlights the growing internal power struggle within the APC in Kogi East, particularly as the region prepares for future political contests.

The stakeholders warn that attempts to deepen divisions within the party could undermine its political standing and cohesion. They assert that Isah has made significant contributions to the community and aligns with President Bola Tinubu's agenda.

The group urges party members to remain calm and loyal to the APC while awaiting the outcome of the NWC's review of the petition.
