Braimoh Urges ADC Executives to Prioritize Unity in Kogi

Olayinka Braimoh, the former gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State, called on the newly constituted executive members of the party to uphold unity and integrity. In a statement issued to newsmen in Lokoja on Sunday, Braimoh stressed that the emergence of the new executive reflects the confidence and trust of the party members in their leadership.

He highlighted the significant responsibilities that the new body holds during a critical time in the nation’s journey. Braimoh encouraged the executives to remain committed to ideals of justice and equity, ensuring that the people-centered governance defines the party's main tenure.

He expressed hope that the ADC would continue to build a credible alternative for the nation, wishing the new leaders wisdom, courage, and success in their tasks ahead. The ADC's leadership was constituted on April 11, 2026, through a consensus arrangement during the party's state congress held in Lokoja, where Dr.

Tom Zakari Ogijo emerged as the chairman.
