Kogi State Launches Service Charter for Transparency

On Tuesday, Kogi State launched a service charter as part of efforts to promote transparency and accountability in public service delivery. The charter outlines clear service standards and timelines that citizens can expect, allowing them to hold government agencies accountable.

The unveiling ceremony took place in Lokoja, where the Executive Director of INGRA, Hamza Aliyu, commended Governor Ahmadu Usman Ododo for his support of the Open Government Partnership. Idri Muraina Ozoveh, co-chairman of the Kogi State Open Government Partnership, described the charter as a public pledge by the government to deliver efficient and quality services to the people.

The event was attended by representatives from various MDAs who pledged their commitment to ensuring accountability and improving service delivery for citizens in Kogi State.
