Kogi Governor Mourns Former PDP Chairman Bamanga Tukur

Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Bamanga Mohammed Tukur, the former Governor of the old Gongola State and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In a condolence message, Governor Ododo characterized Tukur's death as a great loss to Nigeria, particularly at a time when the country relies on the wisdom of experienced leaders.

He highlighted Tukur's extensive contributions to public service, business, and national politics over several decades. Tukur served in various capacities, including as Governor of the old Gongola State and Minister of Industries, leaving a legacy of service and experience in public affairs.

Governor Ododo extended his condolences to Tukur's family, the government and people of Adamawa State, and all associates of the late elder statesman. He prayed for Allah to forgive Tukur's shortcomings, grant him Aljannah Firdaus, and provide his family with strength during this difficult time.
