Kogi PDP Chair Praises Supreme Court Ruling on Convention

Muham Gambo, the Kogi State Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), commended the Supreme Court's judgment on Thursday, which upheld a court appeal that invalidated the PDP's Ibadan convention. The ruling was delivered by a three-member panel of justices who found merit in the appeal.

Gambo called on aggrieved members to support the new leadership to strengthen the party. He highlighted the PDP's commitment to addressing the challenges faced by Nigerians, particularly poverty and insecurity, and expressed confidence in the Kogi State chapter's potential for greater achievements.

Gambo urged unity among party members to ensure the PDP can unseat the APC in the 2027 elections. He also congratulated Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, for his determination to protect the party from being hijacked and commended Abdulrahman Moham for his leadership.

Gambo reiterated the importance of the ongoing voter registration exercise and the PDP's commitment to providing results-driven leadership in Kogi State.
