Enugu PDP Chair Calls for Unity After Supreme Court Ruling

Vitu Okechi, the chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, made a call for unity among party members in response to the Supreme Court's ruling that nullified the Ibadan convention. Okechi described the verdict as one with "no victor, no vanquished," urging all PDP members in the state to focus on rebuilding the party's structure.

He highlighted the importance of moving forward collectively, stating that there are no winners or losers in this situation. Okechi expressed optimism about the party's future, mentioning that potential candidates for the 2027 elections are ready to be unveiled soon.
