Kunle Afod Reveals Six-Month Absence from Family

Kunle Afod, during a live interview with broadcaster Kasnaty, revealed the challenges of balancing his acting career with family life. He admitted that the demanding nature of his profession sometimes leads him to go as long as six months without calling his children.

Afod explained that entertainers often make significant sacrifices to maintain their relevance in the industry. He noted that those passionate about their careers may struggle to balance their professional ambitions with personal relationships, particularly with spouses.

Afod also mentioned that he had opportunities to relocate abroad but chose to remain in Nigeria due to his commitment to acting, which he described as his true calling. Currently, he is in the US promoting his new movie and took the opportunity to connect with his family, sharing a photo with his grown-up daughter on social media.
