Ahmad Critiques Kwankwaso's Political Influence in Kano

Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, stated that Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State, has never effectively delivered Kano State for presidential candidates despite his political influence. Ahmad made these remarks in reaction to comments from Hakeem Baba Ahmed, the chairman of the People's Redemption Party (PRP).

Ahmad emphasized that historical electoral records do not support claims that Kwankwaso possesses significant electoral strength. He insisted that the political landscape reveals a clear history showing that Kwankwaso has not successfully delivered Kano State for any presidential candidate.

Ahmad further questioned the political relevance of Kwankwaso in comparison to Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, asserting that Kwankwaso's political standing today is not comparable to that of Obi.
