Kwankwaso Mourns Aide Hotoro's Death in Road Accident

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vice presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), released an emotional statement mourning the death of Muhammad Sani Hotoro, also known as Dan Sani, who tragically died in a road accident on Thursday, September 10. Hotoro served as a senior special assistant (SSA) on cooperative groups to the Governor of Kano State.

In his post on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Kwankwaso confirmed the circumstances of Hotoro's death and expressed that the loss was deeply personal, noting a long-standing relationship between his family and Hotoro's family that dates back to his time in the political arena, where he worked alongside Hotoro's father. Kwankwaso extended his sympathy to Hotoro's family, friends, and associates, praying for the repose of his soul and asking God to grant him paradise.

Additionally, Umar Haruna Doguwa, a supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, also expressed sadness over Hotoro's passing.
