NNPP Accuses Kwankwaso of Meddling in Party Affairs

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has accused its former presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, of meddling in the party's affairs despite his exit. Ogini Olaposi, the party's national public secretary, made this allegation on Tuesday, asserting that Kwankwaso continues to exert influence over party loyalists who remained after his departure.

The NNPP claims that Kwankwaso is attempting to hijack political power in Kano, which has led to ongoing internal disputes. The party's concerns are compounded by the departure of key members of the Kwankwasiyya movement, who are reportedly involved in litigation regarding Kwankwaso's initiatives within the party.

Olaposi emphasized that Kwankwaso's political influence in Kano has significantly diminished, particularly following the defection of Kei Alli to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The NNPP believes that the current political landscape in Kano is being shaped by Kwankwaso's past organizational structure and influence.
