Kwankwaso Threatens N10bn Lawsuit Against Primate Ayodele

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vice presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress and former governor of Kano State, has threatened to file a N10 billion lawsuit against Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangel Spiritual Church. This legal action stems from allegedly defamatory comments made by Ayodele during a sermon, which have circulated widely on social media.

The comments reportedly portray Kwankwaso as a "deviant hypocrite" and suggest he would betray his supporters. Kwankwaso's legal team, represented by Magaji Ibrahim San and Saifullahi Hassan, has accused Ayodele of making false and malicious statements that attack Kwankwaso's credibility and political integrity.

They demand a full retraction and apology within 24 hours, warning that failure to comply will lead to legal proceedings. The letter also requests a written undertaking from Ayodele to refrain from further defamatory content.
