Kwankwasiyya Movement to Legally Protect Kwankwaso

The Kwankwasiyya Movement, under the leadership of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, issued a statement through spokesman Habibu Sale Muhammad, declaring its intent to legally defend against defamatory claims made against Kwankwaso. The movement acknowledged the right to criticize public figures but stressed the need to differentiate between legitimate political discourse and malicious falsehoods intended to deceive the public and damage reputations.

The statement, obtained on Thursday, highlighted Kwankwaso's long-standing public service and his resilience against political scrutiny. The movement affirmed its readiness to engage with political opponents on policy issues while firmly opposing character assassination and the dissemination of false allegations.

It called on individuals and groups to refrain from spreading malicious claims and reiterated that no one is above the law, indicating a willingness to pursue legal remedies to protect the integrity and dignity of its leader.
