New NSCDC Boss Vows to Combat Crime in Kwara State

Abba Nda Moham officially assumed command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State on April 14, 2026, following his redeployment from the national headquarters in Abuja by Bala Bodinga Bawa. This change is part of a broader administrative reshuffle within the NSCDC.

Moham brings over two decades of experience in security, having held various strategic positions, including head of operations in Kwara State and the anti-vandal unit in Niger State. In his inaugural address, he reaffirmed the NSCDC's commitment to protecting lives and property in Kwara State, prioritizing the safeguarding of critical national assets and infrastructure.

He issued a stern warning to criminal elements, including vandals and economic saboteurs, to steer clear of the state. Moham also pledged to deepen collaboration with other security agencies and relevant stakeholders to sustain peace and enhance security across the state.
