New Kwara NSCDC Commandant Issues Warning to Criminals

Abba Mohammed has officially taken over as the commandant of the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on October 16. During his inaugural press conference in Ilorin, he warned criminals, economic saboteurs, and vandals to steer clear of the state.

Mohammed pledged that the NSCDC would adopt proactive measures to combat various forms of crime and ensure the safety and security of lives and property. He reaffirmed the command's commitment to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure while strengthening intelligence-driven operations across the state.

Mohammed also emphasized the importance of collaboration with sister security agencies and relevant stakeholders to sustain peace and security in Kwara. His appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Bala Bodinga, to the national headquarters.

Mohammed brings two decades of experience in security operations to his new role.
