Kwara PDP Announces Screening Dates for Aspirants

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has commenced its screening process for aspirants intending to contest for various electoral positions in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The screening exercise will begin on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the party's secretariat in Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.

Aspirants for the Kwara State House of Assembly will be screened on this date. Following this, the screening for aspirants for the House of Representatives and Senate will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, also at the party secretariat in Ilorin.

The gubernatorial aspirants will undergo screening on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the PDP national headquarters in Abuja, specifically at Wadata Plaza. The party has urged all aspirants to appear before the screening panel with the necessary documents, including completed nomination forms, identification, and proof of party membership.

This exercise is part of the PDP's commitment to a transparent and democratic process ahead of the elections.
