PDP Aspirant Calls for Igbomina Representation in Kwara South Senate

Professor Muritala Awodun, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for Kwara South senatorial district, emphasized the need for Igbomina people to produce the next representative in the Senate in 2027. Awodun highlighted the historical representation of Offa and Oyun local government areas in the Senate and advocated for a shift to Igbomina representation.

He criticized the current leadership for what he described as absenteeism and a lack of empathy towards the people's plight, citing issues of poverty and insecurity. Awodun, with extensive experience in business and public service, aims to bring impactful representation to the district.
