La Liga Condemns Sevilla Fans' Intimidation Tactics

La Liga has condemned the threats and intimidation directed at Sevilla fans towards their own player and director after Sevilla's third consecutive league defeat. The team lost 1-0 to bottom side Real Oviedo, marking their 17th defeat in the Spanish top flight.

Upon returning to the airport, Sevilla supporters insulted the team and wore masks at the club's training ground. La Liga issued a statement declaring such behavior unacceptable, crossing the line from legitimate criticism of sports performance.

Earlier in the season, Sevilla fans had attempted to force their way into the training ground to confront players. La Liga reported that Spanish authorities would continue to take action against similar incidents in the future, emphasizing that threats, intimidation, and harassment must stop.

Sevilla is currently winless in five matches and sits two points above the relegation zone with eight games remaining in the season.
