Tensions escalated when a group of supporters confronted the Sevilla players and coaching crew at the airport, hurling insults while wearing masks. This incident follows a similar occurrence earlier in the season when supporters attempted to force their way into the club's training ground to challenge the players.

La Liga confirmed that they will report this behavior to Spanish authorities and promised further action if such scenes are repeated.
