Labour Party Demands Probe Into Harassment of Chairman at Abuja Airport

The Labour Party has called for an investigation into the reported harassment of Julius Abure, the party's national chairman, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. Abure was allegedly accosted by a woman named Precious Oruche, leading to a public scene before security personnel intervened.

The Directorate of Mobilisation Integration (DMI) of the Labour Party condemned the incident, labeling it as disgraceful and unacceptable. The party urged security agencies to probe the matter, cautioning against any sponsored confrontations.

Additionally, the DMI criticized Yunusa Tanko, the leader of the Obidient Movement, for potentially escalating tensions with his recent mass mobilization call. The party also called for peaceful political activism and condemned the attack on Abure in the strongest terms.
