Labour Party Condemns Physical Attack on National Chairman at Abuja Airport

The Labour Party in Nigeria condemned the alleged physical attack on its national chairman, Julius Abure, by a woman identified as Precious Oruche, also known as Mama P. The incident took place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where Mama P reportedly assaulted Abure while boarding a flight.

The party spokesperson, Obiora Ifoh, revealed that Mama P's actions caused a disturbance, despite pleas for calm from flight attendants. The party expressed shock over the incident and highlighted ongoing leadership tensions within the Labour Party.

The altercation raised concerns about the safety of political figures and the need for enhanced security measures in public spaces. The woman was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
