Ezeh Declares Candidacy for Labour Party Chairmanship

Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh, a chieftain of the Labour Party, formally declared his intent to contest for the national chairmanship position during a gathering on the sidelines of the party's National Executive Council (NEC) meeting. He pledged to reposition the party with an ideologically driven platform that caters to the aspirations of Nigerians.

Ezeh emphasized the importance of a clear philosophical foundation to distinguish the Labour Party within Nigeria's political landscape. He acknowledged that the final decision regarding the zoning of the position rests with the party's leadership and that all aspirants must await the outcomes of consultations within the NEC and relevant organs.

Ezeh, who previously aspired for the Ebonyi State governorship in 2022, urged party members and stakeholders to work collectively to consolidate the gains made in recent electoral cycles, stressing the need for unity and commitment to the party's growth.
