Lagos APC Denies Emergency Meeting Claims from Villa

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially debunked reports suggesting that an emergency meeting was ordered from the Presidential Villa. In a statement released on Wednesday, party spokesman Mogaji Sey Oladejo clarified that there was no directive from state chairman Cornelius Ojelabi for a meeting to be convened at the party secretariat.

The APC described the circulating reports as false and misleading, aimed at creating unnecessary anxiety within the party and among the public. The statement emphasized that the Lagos APC remains disciplined, law-abiding, and committed to organizational guidelines and due process in decision-making.

The party is currently focused on consolidating its structure and intensifying preparations for the upcoming national elections, rather than engaging in actions that could cause internal disruption. Oladejo urged party members and the public to refrain from spreading unverified information that could unnecessarily escalate political tensions.
