Lagos Assembly Inducts 132 New Officers for Service

The Lagos State House of Assembly conducted an induction ceremony for 132 newly recruited officers aimed at strengthening the efficiency and professionalism within its legislative service. The event took place at the Lateef Jakande Auditorium within the Assembly complex.

During the open session, Clerk of the House, Barrister Olalekan Onafeko, represented Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and urged the new officers to embrace their roles with diligence and proactivity. He highlighted the Assembly's commitment to accountability and excellence in public service.

Alhaja Omowunmi Ogbara, Chairman of the Lagos State House Assembly Service Commission, advised the recruits to comply strictly with Lagos State civil service rules and maintain high standards of discipline and ethical conduct. The ceremony also included a moment of silence to honor two staff members who recently passed away.

Retired civil servant Mr. Femi Solaja participated in the program, emphasizing the importance of integrity and punctuality in public service.
