Lagos State Honors Public Service Officers for Excellence

The Lagos State Government recently held a ceremony to reward public service officers for their dedication and commitment to improving service delivery. The event took place in the conference room of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

Oluyinka Olumid presented the awards, which were divided into two categories: the Chief Town Planning Officer, Raji Abimbola, received the Senior Officer of the Quarter award, while Michael Samuel, Chief Cleric Officer, was awarded the Junior Officer of the Quarter. The program aims to recognize and reward officers who demonstrate exceptional commitment and outstanding performance in their duties.

Sylvest Ogunkelu, Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development, commended the awardees for their hard work and encouraged them to continue setting high standards within the public service. Adebayo Wasiu, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, emphasized that the awards reflect the government's value placed on dedication and commitment, urging recipients to strive for greater heights.
